This publication came from a conglomeration of ideas regarding the relationship between society, politics, economy, and media.  We believe a flood of rhetoric and bias hits the average person every day.  This has influenced people negatively as we have become more divided and hostile towards each other.

We are working to educate, inform, and cultivate through fact-based articles.

Jonathan Conners began this enterprise in 2024 through a Facebook page.  The main reason was he became disillusioned with the modern media.  Articles have blatantly omitted facts, exaggerated divisive topics, and promoted political tribalism.  His main objective is to promote the facts and allow people to decide how they feel about it. 

This outlet will write articles that the modern media won't touch.  We will not be pumping out content just for the sake of it, we only produce fact based and credibly sourced information.

We picked the bison to be on our logo.  The Bison represents individual strength coexisting in a larger community.   They can maintain basic functions alone; however, they are more efficient when cooperating with the herd.  This makes finding food and defense more effective.  

Bison also reflect the negatives of herd mentality.  Indigenous people would cause herds to stampede by scaring them and steering them into "Buffalo Jumps" aka cliffs where the herd would be funneled.  They would be forced by the herd to jump off the cliff and therefore die.  

We believe modern culture is a giant buffalo jump.  Our political system has misled people into believe one of two political parts is the answer, while making decisions that directly make their people's lives more difficult.  Our economy is mismanaged through fiat money and corporate welfare.  Our social structure has been hijacked by political hyperbole and divisional rhetoric. 

The Bison represents the idea that we can be ourselves, think independently, and do what's best for our lives - all the while living, cooperating, and growing with our neighbors within beautiful communities.
